SAMBA/BATUCADA Percussions
Samba Experience is an immersive team-building activity where participants become the true stars of the show. Through Brazilian percussion and the energy of samba, each person discovers an instrument, learns a simple rhythm, and takes part in creating a real batucada orchestra. Grooves, breaks, solos, choreography, and surprises bring the workshop to life, recreating the festive and vibrant atmosphere of the Rio Carnival.
Accessible to everyone, this activity requires no previous musical experience. Participants choose from several instrument families such as the agogo, tambourim, shaker, chacha bell or surdo, then gradually learn how to play together. The goal is to move from individuality to collective listening, while developing coordination, concentration, responsiveness and team spirit.
The workshop follows a progressive educational approach in several stages: discovering the instrument, working in small groups, bringing everything together with the full orchestra, then being conducted by the maestro using signs and a whistle. This dynamic allows participants, most of whom are not musicians, to build a powerful and unifying rhythm together in a joyful, fun and energetic atmosphere.
Samba Experience adapts to all event formats, from seminars to plenary sessions, with groups from 10 to 4,000 participants and a flexible duration from 30 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. Several formats are available: separate workshops with a shared finale, a collective workshop, or a plenary session. Additional options can also enhance the experience, such as Brazilian dancers or audio/video recording of the performance.
